Canada to Move on Gay Marriage After Court Ruling
Now, why is the States so backwards and retarded about this? What they are doing there makes perfect sense. It's not like they are letting people marry chairs or pets or other inanimate objects.

For real! You'd think Bush and the rest would love the estimated $1 billion that would be added to the economy if gay marriage were legal. Plus, ya know, the whole "equality" thing that the US tends to preach about so much.
On a side note, if I *were* to marry an inanimate object, it would not be my chair at work. It's a piece of s*!t and it hurts my back, which are two things I try to avoid when finding a mate.
